Growers Avenue. A kaleidoscope of colours in a magical streetscape.
Showcasing the best of Victoria’s growers, Growers Avenue at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) in March 2010 depicted a streetscape alive with vibrant flora. The installation was a first for MIFGS, and provided an affordable and attractive promotional tool for flower growers from around the State.
Housed in the Great Hall of Flowers, Growers Avenue was constructed of two 20-metre avenues built from recycled apple creates. Forty-four exhibitors innovatively displayed their blooms to more than 110,000 people who attended the show over five days.
Growers Avenue will pop up at Royal Melbourne Show, 18 – 28 September 2010.
